Aspect Hydrating Serum and Aspect Hydrating Lip Balm.

I have to be honest with you dear reader, I don't drink enough water! And unfortunately for me this takes a toll on my skin, which means I need all the help I can get from my skincare products.
Two new products that have just landed on my desk are the Aspect Hydrating Serum and Hydrating Lip Balm which have been giving my skin the extra hydration boost it's needed.

The hydrating serum contains Sodium Hyaluronate which is a form of Hyaluronic Acid which can hold up to 1,000 times it weight in water, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice helps to soothe and hydrate the skin, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascrobate (Oil Soluble Vitamin C) is an antioxidant that I like to incorporate into my routine on a daily basis in conjunction with a sunscreen as it helps to protect the skin from free radical damage, the Oil Soluble Vitamin C in this serum is pH neutral. The serum also contains Pathenol which helps to retain moisture and Niacinamide which is a form of Vitamin B that helps to improve moisture content and works at calming at soothing the skin.

The thing I love most about this serum is the way it feels on the skin, it absorbs instantly but feels an almost tacky feel onto the skin which I personally like because I know whatever I put on top of the product will adhere easier to the skin. The serum can be used morning and or at night, I like to use this after an exfoliating toner or essence and then follow up with my other serums, moisturiser and sunscreen.

The perfect addition to add extra hydration is the Aspect Hydrating Lip Balm, I have only been using this product for a couple of weeks or so but I'm already adding to the list of my holy grail products. It's a really moisturising balm but it doesn't leave a sticky residue on the lips which I love, it also stays around for a long time, I feel like with some lip balms you put them on and they vanish soon after but this one really stays on the lips and leaves a matte finish.

It contains a host of hydrating ingredients like Jojoba Esters which helps to retain moisture, Beeswax helps to condition dry and chapped lips, Shea Butter helps to aid the skins natural collagen production and contains Oleic, Stearic, Palmitic and Linolenic Acids that all help to protect and nourish the lips, Coconut Oil contains fatty acids that help to hold onto moisture and adds a layer of hydration.

Im thinking that I will need to have one of these in every bag!
